Dec non-manufacturing PMI falls to 3-month low, NBS says

China’s non-manufacturing purchasing managers’ index, a gauge of business activity, fell to a three-month low of 54.6 in December from 56.0 in the previous month, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement on its website Friday. A figure above 50 suggests expansion. The new orders index was unchanged at 51.0 in the month, while the business expectations sub-index dropped 2.6 points to 58.7, the lowest level since March 2009, data showed.
