Shanghai FTZ rules tweaked for foreign investors, paper says

The government will temporarily adjust its policy on foreign firms in the Shanghai free trade zone as part of investment reform, China Securities Journal reported Monday, citing a State Council announcement. Under the new policy, certain administrative requirements will no longer need regulatory approval and will be filed only for vetting purposes. In addition, some sectors including entertainment, talent agency, value-added telecom, education and gaming equipment services will be open to foreigners, the report said.
