China updates WTO on govt contracts, paper says

China submitted its 2014 procurement list to the World Trade Organization’s Government Procurement Committee Monday in its continued bid to join the committee, the 21st Century Business Herald reported Friday, citing an unnamed official source. The list is worth US$230 billion. If China joins the committee, Chinese companies will be able to tender for government contracts in other member states, the report said.
