Six more human cases of H7N9 bird flu have been confirmed in China, the official Xinhua news agency reported Monday, citing local health authorities. One case was in Zunyi city in the southwest Guizhou province, where a 38-year-old male was hospitalized on Jan. 4 and died four days later. Two cases were in Foshan city in the southern Guangdong province, where both patients have been hospitalized for treatment. The other three cases, of which one patient has died, were in the eastern Zhejiang province, where there have been a total of seven cases, the report said.
