Eastman Kodak Co. is forecasting “double-digit” revenue growth in China this year as commercial printers and packagers “move up the value chain to avoid obsolescence”, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing the company’s chief executive officer. “China desperately needs to move to digital methodologies in printing if they want to keep the position they have as volume manufacturers,” Kodak CEO Antonio Perez said. Kodak’s China plans include opening a training center in Shanghai, the report said. About 15 percent of the company’s revenue comes from China and that proportion should grow, Perez was quoted as saying.
