China FDI inflow up 5.25% at US$117.6 bln in 2013, Xinhua says

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in mainland China rose 5.25 percent from a year earlier in 2013 to US$117.59 billion, Xinhua news agency reported, citing the Ministry of Commerce. In December alone, the country’s FDI inflow rose 3.3 percent from a year earlier to US$12.08 billion, ministry spokesman Shen Danyang was quoted as saying at a news conference Thursday.
