Busap may invest 1 bln yuan on bus Wi-Fi service, report says

Busap Holding Co. Ltd., one of China’s first licensed virtual telecom service providers, plans to invest one billion yuan (US$165 million) to offer Wi-Fi connection on public buses, establishing the largest on-bus mobile Wi-Fi platform in the country, Tencent Finance portal reported Friday, citing unidentified sources. The service, to be named MyWiFi, will target a total of 150,000 buses in 33 provinces and cities this year and cover about 200 million people daily, the report said.
