People who fail to fulfill court orders will be banned from flying and riding in upper-class sleeper train compartments under a raft of tougher penalties unveiled by the Supreme People’s Court, Xinhua reported Thursday. Court vice president Jiang Bixin said six central government departments and China Railway Corp. had agreed to impose the restrictions, which also include bans on defaulters becoming company legal representatives, board members or senior executives, the report said. Jiang said about 70 percent of debtors do not willingly fulfill court judgments. The court’s blacklist covers 46,500 individuals and 9,400 corporations.
