PBoC named ‘central bank of the year’, WSJ says

The People’s Bank of China (PBoC) has been named the central bank of the year by CentralBanking.com, a publication owned by London trade publishers Incisive Media, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. Deutsche Bank China economist Jun Ma gave the pick four stars. “China’s overall macro condition today is one of the best in history,” he was quoted as saying in a note praising the award.
