Bright Food steps up global push, paper says

Shanghai-based Bright Food (Group) Co. Ltd. is planning to bring Spanish produce such as wines, olive oil and ham to the Chinese market, National Business Daily reported Tuesday. The company is sending a delegation to Spain in February to hammer out details of the plan after signing an agreement with Spanish investment Bank GBS Finanzas and Samaranch Foundation on Monday, vice president Ge Junjie was quoted as saying. The agreement is part of a stepped up global push to raise the proportion of Bright Food’s international business to 25 percent of revenue from 15 percent, the report said.
