Securities chief unveils key changes, paper says

China’s securities watchdog has unveiled regulatory changes to increase protection for small investors, China Securities Journal reported Wednesday citing chairman Xiao Gang {肖鋼}. These include a balanced risk management regime, a shorter pre-approval process, improved transparency and coordinated supervision. The measures are part of ongoing reform in the country’s capital markets, the report said.
