China’s southeastern Fujian province saw its agricultural products trade with Taiwan top the US$1.2 billion mark in 2013, representing growth of more than 12 percent over the previous year and enabling the region to keep its lead over other provinces, United Daily News reported Thursday, citing data released at a provincial agriculture bureau work meeting. According to the data, Fujian approved a total of 48 agriculture-related projects involving Taiwan investors last year, with contracted investment seen at US$120 million.
