Over 265 SMEs to join New Third Board, paper says

Two hundred and sixty-six small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) from various regions and sectors are set to list on China’s New Third Board (NTB), bringing the total number of companies listed on the national SME share transfer system to 621, the China Securities Journal reported Friday. Nearly half the firms in the listing queue have annual revenues of over 50 million yuan (US$8.26 million), it said. A new trading support system is planned go online in May and a system for market makers is set to be rolled out in August, the report said.
