Property firms raise sales targets for 2014, paper says

Major property developers have set higher sales targets for 2014 after recording strong sales in 2013, the South Metropolis Daily reported over the weekend, citing companies. Greenland Group is aiming for 240 billion yuan (US$39.30 billion) in sales this year, compared with 162.5 billion yuan last year, the paper said. Wanda Group has set a similar goals. Vanke’s sales are also expected to exceed 200 billion yuan this year after booking 170.9 billion yuan in 2013, but it has not disclosed the new figure, according to the report.
