CNPC oil, gas output up 10% in 2013, website says

China National Petroleum Corp.’s (CNPC) oil and gas output grew 10.2 percent year on year to 306.55 million metric tons in 2013, government portal reported Monday. The energy giant had more than 1 billion metric tons of identified oil and gas reserves for the seventh consecutive year and paid 402.4 billion yuan (US$66.54 billion) in taxes in 2013, the report said. CNPC built a record 7,400-plus kilometers of pipelines during the year, with 6,082 km going into operation, also a new high, the report said.
