Taipei, Beijing govt officials to meet on Feb 11, Bloomberg says

Officials from the mainland and Taiwan will meet in Nanjing to discuss their relationship on Feb. 11, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, describing it as the first government-to-government meeting since a civil war led to a 65-year rift. Wang Yu-chi, Taiwan’s minister of mainland affairs, will meet with Beijing’s Taiwan Affairs Office leader, Zhang Zhijun, Wang said. The two sides will discuss setting up representative offices, and cross-strait economic issues, the report said.
