BMW does not plan to make its electric i3 sedan in China, the world’s biggest car market, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing one of its top executives. BMW board member Harald Krueger said the infrastructure in China is still developing and Chinese production is not under consideration, the report said. BMW already has production facilities in China for making its more conventional cars. Together with its joint-venture partner Brilliance China Automotive (1114.HK), BMW has a factory in Shenyang, where they manufacture BMW’s 3-series and 5-series sedans, it said.
