End nigh in ex-security chief graft probe, paper says

Central authorities have begun briefing officials on findings of the corruption case centred on former security tsar Zhou Yongkang, signalling the final stage in the graft investigation, the South China Morning Post reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources. The briefings included new details about the possible origins of the case against the retired Politburo Standing Committee member, the report said. One source said the investigation will deal exclusively with financial issues and corruption.
