Shenzhen offering loans for high school graduates, paper says

Shenzhen is offering loans for high school graduates who want to start their own business as part of efforts to boost employment in the southern city, the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported Tuesday, citing a notice from the local government. Each graduate can get a loan of 100,000 yuan (US$16,497.58) or a maximum of 2 million yuan. Small and medium-sized enterprises will also be granted a one-time subsidy of 1,000 yuan if they hire a high school graduate for a period of at least one year, the report said.
