Canada has cut visa fees for Chinese nationals and extended the validity of multiple-entry permits to 10 years, Beijing Morning Post reported Thursday. Single-entry visas are being discontinued. Fees have been cut to C$100 from C$150 for multiple-entry visas which entitle the holders to a maximum stay of six months in a single visit. Chinese tourists to Canada rose 22.5 percent year on year in the 10 months to October last year, the report said, citing the Tourism Industry Association of Canada. Nearly 290,000 Chinese visited Canada in 2012.
