25 regions clear the air on plans to cut pollution, website says

All but half a dozen of 31 mainland administrative regions have come up with details on how they will improve air quality in their areas since late 2013 when the Ministry of Environmental Protection issued its national blueprint to control pollution, China.com.cn reported Tuesday. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area is the ministry’s top priority, the report said, adding that it stressed the need for cooperation between government agencies and across regions, and for detailed plans and goals on the ground. The ministry has proposed 22 short-term measures to the State Council, it said.
