Nissan China sales slip as Toyota and Honda gain, WSJ says

Japanese carmakers reported mixed results in China for January, with sales at Nissan Motor Co.  Ltd. slowing unexpectedly as Toyota Motor Corp. and Honda Motor Co. Ltd. gaining speed in the world’s largest car market, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday. Nissan sold 95,200 vehicles in China last month, down 0.4 percent from a year earlier, the report said. By contrast, Toyota posted an 18 percent increase in its China sales to 85,600 vehicles last month, while sales at Honda jumped about a third to 63,128 vehicles, it said.
