China’s commerce ministry has announced that ten more companies have been granted oil products wholesale licenses, the China Securities Journal reported Thursday. The ten firms, which mark the first batch of license winners this year, include subsidiaries of the major state-run oil producers as well as private companies, the report said. So far, a total of 277 companies have secured such licenses. Entities controlled by nation’s top three state-owned oil giants as well as Sinochem Corp and China National Aviation Fuel are said to take up about 24 percent of the licenses.
