Hong Kong Disneyland is set to report its second profitable year since opening in 2005, with attendance hitting a record of over 7.5 million people amid strong demand from mainland visitors, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday, citing people with direct knowledge of the data. The theme park, 52 percent-owned by the city government, was to announce its financial results for the fiscal year ended September 2013 later Monday. It announced earnings of US$14.06 million in fiscal 2012, its first-ever annual profit, as attendance rose 13 percent to 6.7 million visitors, the report said.
