Contract lingerie maker Top Form International Ltd. (00333.HK) will boost capacity in Cambodia and other low-cost markets to drive growth, chairman Willie Fung said Monday.
Cambodia accounted for just 5 percent of the company’s output in 2013 while China and Thailand made up 49 percent and 46 percent, respectively.
Top Form will invest HK$20 million (US$2.58 million) in machinery to produce new-design underwear and replace outdated equipment, Fung told reporters during the announcement of its interim results to December 2013.
He expects single-digit revenue growth in 2014 amid steady economic conditions in its two major markets — the United States and Europe — which accounted for 52 percent and 29 percent, respectively, of last year’s revenue.
