China per capita disposable income growth at 8.1%, Xinhua says

The average disposable income per capita for residents in China climbed to 18,311 yuan (US$3,003) in 2013, marking a real growth rate of 8.1 percent from the previous year, Xinhua news agency reported Monday, citing data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The real growth rate for rural residents was 9.3 percent to 8,896 yuan while urban residents saw a 7 percent increase to 26,955 yuan, the report said.
