Qoros seeks partnerships to expand range, WSJ says

Joint-venture carmaker Qoros Automotive Co. is in talks with other manufacturers for parts, platforms and other technologies as it tries to control costs and expand its product range, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing sales chief Stefano Villanti. Qoros, a joint venture between Chery Automobile Co. and investment group Israel Corp., launched its first car—the Qoros Sedan—late last year and will bring out a hatchback version this summer, the report said. The company also aims to release a compact sport-utility vehicle, a full-size SUV and a station wagon, it said.
