Electric sports carmaker Tesla Motors, Inc. has been in talks with NARI Technology Development Co., Ltd. (600406.CN), a subsidiary of State Grid Corporation of China, about teaming up on battery recharging in China for Tesla cars, the 21st Century Business Herald reported Monday. Tesla is looking for a one-stop solution to recharging, from plugging in to monitoring and day-to-day maintenance. Some places such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Zhejiang and Jiangxi already have recharging infrastructure in place, while others such as Hebei, Fujian and Guangdong are installing it. More than 20,000 charging stations were operating in the United States as of the first half of 2013, more than 10 times the figure in 2011, the report said.
