Six men and two women who went on a deadly rampage Saturday at a railway station in Kunming in southwest China’s Yunnan province have been either killed or captured, the official Xinhua news agency reported Monday, citing the Ministry of Public Security. The “terrorist gang” was led by a person named Abdurehim Kurban, the ministry said. Four were shot to death by the police and the rest were captured, it said. The knife-wielding assailants had killed 29 people and injured 143 in one of the most horrific terror attacks in China in recent years.
