CDB may issue up to 10 bln yuan bonds this month, paper says

China Development Bank (CDB), one of the country’s major policy banks, is expected to issue up to 10 billion yuan (US$1.64 billion) worth of bonds on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in the middle of March, Shanghai Securities News reported Friday, citing an unidentified source. The bank piloted bond issuance at the Shanghai bourse at the end of last year with an initial quota of 30 billion yuan. It issued 2-year bonds worth 8 billion yuan and 5-year bonds worth 4 billion yuan in December, the report noted.
