Fujian plans entrepreneurial park in Pingtan zone, paper says

The Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone in southeast China’s Fujian province plans to spend 2 billion yuan (US$326.8 million) to set up an entrepreneurial park for Taiwanese firms and college graduates who want to start business there, the United Daily News reported Friday, citing the zone’s administration. The park, which covers about 200 mu (133,334 square meters), will focus on high-tech industries in the initial phase, including e-commerce and software development, according to the plan. It aims to start operations in July, the report said.
