China’s logistics sector grew at a faster pace in February compared with January, the Shanghai Securities News reported Friday, citing the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. The logistics performance index for February stood at 51.9 percent, up 0.4 percentage points from January, the federation said. A reading above 50 percent indicates expansion from the previous month, while a reading below indicates contraction. The new orders index was 52.2 percent, up 0.4 percentage points from the previous month, the report said.
