CITIC Bank to issue 2 bln yuan in interbank NCDs, paper says

China CITIC Bank Corp. Ltd. (00998.HK, 601998.CN) plans to issue interbank negotiable certificates of deposit (NCDs) worth 2 billion yuan (US$326.07 million) Monday with maturity of six months, National Business Daily reported Monday, citing a company filing. The issuance is not expected to spur much interest as its price is set at 97.3261 yuan, higher than the 97.303 yuan Industrial Bank Co. Ltd. (601166.CN) set for the NCDs it issued Wednesday but failed to fully sell, the report quoted an analyst as saying. Meanwhile, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co. Ltd. (600000.CN) and China Development Bank, the other two lenders with approval to issue interbank NCDs, have not published their issuance plans yet, the report said.
