Wison chairman arrested over bribery, WSJ says

Wison Engineering Services Co. Ltd. (02236.HK) said its chairman Hua Bangsong was arrested by Chinese public security authorities “over alleged bribery activity”, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday, citing the company’s statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange late Friday. The company said it got the information from a family member of the top executive, adding that the board has not been given details of the allegation against him. Wison said in September 2013 that it could not reach its chairman, according to the newspaper.
