Beijing pre-owned home sales down for 6 straight wks, paper says

Second-hand home sales in Beijing have stayed below the 2,000-unit mark for six straight weeks, with the latest figure being 1,781 units for the week of March 3, down 7.8 percent from the previous week, Beijing Business Today reported Wednesday, citing data from property market information portal homelink.com. According to the China Real Estate Society, there were no signs of an easing of China’s property market regulation policies since they were tightened in fourth quarter last year. A rebound in sales of pre-owned property units in Beijing could get pushed back further, some analysts were quoted as saying.
