Yunnan vice governor sacked for discipline breaches, Xinhua says

Shen Peiping, vice governor of southwestern China’s Yunnan province, has been removed from his post for suspected “serious violations of discipline”, the official Xinhua news agency reported Wednesday, using a euphemism for graft. Authorities are handling his case according to procedures, the report said, citing a statement from the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee.
