The central government will unveil unified property registration rules in June and establish joint ministerial conferences on real estate this year, the China Times reported Thursday, citing Land and Resources Minister Jiang Daming. According to unidentified sources, the ministry has chosen several cities including Nanjing, Ningbo and Zhengzhou for a trial scheme of the new rules. SOHO China (00410.HK) chairman Pan Shiyi said the system would be a blow to home prices. The land ministry will establish a real estate registration bureau and an online registration platform, the report said, citing vice minister Xu Deming.
