Real estate chains shun website in price row, paper says

At least eight major real estate chains in Shanghai banded together to boycott one of the country’s leading pre-owned home websites over a pricing dispute, Shanghai Daily reported Friday. The companies include market leaders Century 21 China Real Estate, Centaline Property, Shanghai Hanyu Property and Shanghai Deovolente Realty, the report said. Anjuke changed its policy from charging agencies a fixed monthly fee to charging one based on the number of clicks they receive. Responding to the joint move, Anjuke said it won’t implement the new policy as it is “immature” to do so, the report said.
