New-home prices rose last month in 69 out of the 70 major Chinese cities monitored by the government, according to information posted Tuesday on the website of National Bureau of Statistics. Shanghai led the gains with 18.7 percent year-on-year growth in home prices in February. Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing and Xiamen all saw home prices climb more than 15 percent. Meanwhile, home prices in Wenzhou fell for the 31st straight month.
