Unicom to offer 4G plans from 78 yuan, paper says

China United Network Communications Group Co. Ltd. (China Unicom) (00762.HK, 600050.CN) is expected to offer 4G mobile services for as low as 78 yuan (US$12.62) a month, Securities Daily reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources. The most expensive package costs 598 yuan. Unicom is expected to launch 4G services in 25 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Meanwhile, China Mobile Ltd. (00941.HK) has cut its standard 4G plan to 58 yuan from 128 yuan, the report said.
