Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. (Chalco) (02600.HK, 601600.CN) posted a net profit of 948 million yuan (US$153.12 million) in 2013 from a net loss of 8.23 billion yuan a year earlier, it said in a stock exchange filing Tuesday. Revenue rose 15.76 percent to 173.04 billion yuan. Basic earnings per share were 7 fen. The company, which suffered a loss of 1.84 billion yuan in the first three quarters last year, returned to profit after cutting costs and selling assets, the filing said.
