Basic earnings per share stood at 6.05 yuan, down from 6.43 yuan in 2012. The company proposed final dividend of HK$1.615 per share. The drop in net profit was due to increased investment on network infrastructure in order to support the explosive growth in data traffic, the telecoms giant said.
