Artgo Mining Holdings Ltd. (03313.HK), a Xiamen-based marble supplier, aims to raise annual production to 250,000 cubic meters by 2017 and processing capacity to 9 million square meters by 2021, top management said.
“Most of the target production [by 2017] would be processed with our design and become standardized products, while the self-processing plants are expected to open in 2015 and reach the 9 million square meter target by 2021,” chairman Liu Chuanjia told a press briefing Friday.
In 2013, the company extracted a total of 44,700 cubic meters of marble blocks.
“We are not just a mining company, but an integrated enterprise that covers everything from production to processing and sales,” Liu said. The firm plans to add two more stores “for clients to experience our products”, raising the number of outlets to six this year, while distributors will have no less than 50 stores across the country.
Artgo aims to increase the number of its distributors to 100 this year, from the current 69, he said. It also plans to distribute its products on the internet starting 2015.
Besides China, the company has sales outlets in the United States, the Middle East and Europe, while those in Canada are under discussion. Currently, overseas sales contribute about 3 percent of its total revenue, and Artgo aims to increase their share by 10 to 15 percentage points this year.
