China to launch new round of anti-graft inspections, Xinhua says

China will embark on a new round of inspections of officials to expose corruption nationwide, Xinhua reported Tuesday, citing the Communist Party’s top discipline watchdog. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection will send inspectors to Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Hainan, Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the report said. Teams will also be dispatched to the Ministry of Science and Technology, Fudan University and China Oil & Foodstuffs Co., it said.
