China cuts retail oil prices, Xinhua says

China will cut the retail price of gasoline by 135 yuan (US$22) per tonne and diesel by 130 yuan from Thursday, Xinhua reported Wednesday, citing the National Development and Reform CommissionThe cut, the third of this year, means that benchmark retail price will drop by 0.1 yuan per liter for gasoline and 0.11 yuan per liter for diesel, the report said. International oil prices have fallen since mid-March partly due to warmer weather that reduced oil demand, it said.
