Nokia launches China music streaming service, paper says

Finnish handset maker Nokia has launched its Nokia MixRadio music streaming service on the mainland, the first global provider to do so, the Global Times reported Friday. The service has a catalog of more than 30 million songs and is tied to the phonemaker’s Lumia Windows Phone line and its Nokia X series. Bryan Wang, Beijing-based vice president at Forrester Research, was quoted as saying that the service may not be enough to convince users to opt for Nokia devices given that several local streaming services are already popular in the Chinese market.
