Tencent Holdings Ltd. (00700.HK) and Zhongshan Securities Co. Ltd. will jointly launch a mobile stock trading platform that charges zero commission except for the 0.01 percent charged by the exchanges, Beijing Business Today reported Friday. The platform will allow users to open trading accounts and keep track of share movements through their mobile phones, according to a statement from the Shenzhen-based securities brokerage. It will initially use the Android system and later introduce an iOS version. Tencent has a similar partnership with Sinolink Securities Co. Ltd. (600109.CN), the report said.
