Chang An-lo, former leader of the Bamboo Union triad in Taiwan and a pro-China activist, on Tuesday led hundreds of people to confront students who have occupied the island’s parliament since March 18 in a protest against the cross-strait service trade pact, Liberty Times reported Wednesday. Police were hand to prevent clashes between the two sides, it said. Chang, nicknamed White Wolf, provoked the students with harsh words, saying the student leaders were actually acting as the agents of some politicians. The students engaged in intense quarrels with Chang who ended his confrontation at 5 pm, the report said.
