Zillow to offer property listings to Chinese portal, WSJ says

Zillow Inc. will begin providing real-estate listings for a Chinese real-estate portal, giving Chinese investors more access to the U.S. housing market, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday. The online real-estate service said it is partnering with Beijing Yisheng Leju Information Services Inc. to launch a jointly branded website in China this summer, giving shoppers access to Zillow’s U.S. property listings translated into Chinese, the report said. Zillow has more than two million U.S. residential listings but doesn’t sell homes; it provides a platform that connects potential buyers to real-estate agents or home sellers, it said.
