Premier Li Keqiang has reiterated that the Chinese government will fine-tune its policies at the appropriate time, according to Xinhua news agency.
Li made the comments when he met with World Economic Forum (WEF) founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab in Beijing on Wednesday, the report said.
The global economic recovery still face much uncertainty and instability, Li said, adding that developed and emerging economies need to help each other and jointly cope with challenges and consolidate the revival momentum.
Despite the complicated external situation, China’s economy has been running smoothly, the premier said, noting that the country has made positive progress in structural adjustment.
The nation will stick to a policy of seeking progress while maintaining stability. It will step up reforms and continue structural adjustments in the economy.
Li also repeated the pledge for a proactive fiscal policy and prudent monetary policy, and vowed to enhance policy coordination.
